"It's not the years in your life, but the life in your years..."
In January 2012, Mike Jones - a member of the Ashley Plantation family passed away unexpectedly in his home located adjacent to the fairway on Hills # 5 our signature Par 6 hole.
We all know that Mike and his wife Debby took tremendous pride in the landscaping and gardening around their home.
In a tribute to Mike's memory a Memorial Garden is being constructed near the tee box on the hole in which Mike and Debby made their home.
The garden will be a labor-of-love for Debby who will be maintaining it herself. The project has begun with the selection of the site and groundbreaking will soon be underway.
When it is complete, Debby and daughter Katie will be able to sit on the back deck of their home and see the garden, and will be a comfort to Tabbie, Dave, Brooke and Justine when they come to visit.
We plan to update this page with photographs of the progress so please visit often...
